AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO THE
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY
ADMINISTERED BY ITS
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT
AND
TOWN OF WICKENBURG
I. Maricopa County (the “County”) by and through its Human Services Department (MCHSD), and
the Town of Wickenburg (“Town”) entered into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement
(“Agreement”) to integrate the County’s workforce development system into the Town’s library
system. The term of the Agreement began on July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019. The Agreement
contains extension options for 3 additional 1-year terms. The County and the Town are collectively
referred to herein as the “Parties” and individually as “Party”.
II. The Parties now wish to Amend the Agreement as follows (Amendment No. 1, renewal option #1):
A. Extend the Agreement term from July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
B. The Amendment shall be effective on July 1, 2019 to June 30, 2020.
C. The Town shall reimburse the County a not to exceed amount of $48,317 for the extension
period. The Town shall pay the County the monthly amount not to exceed $4,026.
D. Include Attachment “A” Itemized Service Budget (ISB) to the Agreement as modified for
the new agreement term.
III. Upon approval of Amendment No. 1, two (2) one-year renewal term will remain.
IV. This Agreement is subject to A.R.S. §38-511. The foregoing paragraphs, contain all the changes
made by this Amendment. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain the
same and in full force and effect as approved and amended.
