Dear Ms. McCarroll,
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes 16-558(A), an irrigation district may conduct its board of
directors' election by mail ballot if the governing board of the district obtains approval from the
board of supervisors of the county in which the district is located, prior to publishing the call of
election.
Western Meadows Irrigation District (WMID) requests permission from the Maricopa County
Board of Supervisors to conduct a mail ballot election for the 2019 WM1D election of directors,
to be reviewed at the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors meeting on June 26, 2019
