R. S 48-261, 48-263 Dear Board of Supervisors and Clerk, We fully support and are in favor of the formation of the Evergreen IWDD. Evergreen is a historic district very close to the old downtown Mesa. We have many large trees and depend on flood irrigation to keep them beautiful. People comment on this area when they come to visit. Because it is an old area we have many problems with our irrigation lines, stands and gates. People don't always repair their lines and gates so it affects everyone down the water line from them. Through the years we have been on the committee to collect money for repairs but like everything many don't contribute. We feel if this is shared by all in this area through a small tax assessment it would be fair and we could keep our community looking so nice. We would appreciate your consideration to let us try to get the required signatures to proceed with this formation of the Evergreen IWDD. Sincerely, Bruce and Jane Cummins 557 N.
