AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows:
1. Notwithstanding Section I, paragraph E of the original agreement, this Amendment is
effective on April 1, 2015.

4. The Town reserves the right to request short term, intermittent directed traffic

These requests will be handled as work orders and as follows:
E-ach
to the MCSO Deputy Chief of Patrol at least ten days prior to desired start of the
saturation. Work orders will specify desired length of time—not to exceed three
weeks—desired days of the week, and desired times of the day.
b. The District will consult with the MCSO Business Services Division to obtain a Work
Order cost estimate. The cost estimates will be based on average hourly deputy
pay at time and a half (double on holidays), plus the variable benefits percentage
rate, and a portion for supervision.
c. Overtime time worked on saturation patrols by deputies who regularly staff the
contract are included in base Agreement costs; however, the overtime costs
for deputies who are brought in from other MCSO Divisions to staff the

d. MCSO will make every effort to respond to the Work Order request within three
business days of the request.
e. MCSO will ensure that hours worked for each Work Order do not exceed the cost
estimate provided
f. The MCSO District Captain will provide the Town a separate report showing
results of the saturation traffic patrol Work Order with its monthly report-- i.e.
type of stop and number of warnings and citations issued.
4. Reimbursement Costs and Charges Section Ill, item C. Payment of the Agreement is
hereby amended adding an item "5." That will read as follows:
5. Payment for Work Orders initiated in Section II.B.2.a. of this Agreement as
amended in Amendment 1. will be separate from the base Agreement
equal monthly installment payments. Overtime worked by non-Queen Creek
assigned contract deputies will be identified and accounted for in the ADP payroll
system and the Town will be billed based on the payroll reports for the specific
time period pertaining to a particular Work Order. Billings will generally occur
within two to three weeks following the Work Order and payment will be due upon
receipt.
5. Effect of Amendment. Except as modified by this Amendment, and only to the
extent so modified, all other terms and conditions of the Agreement will
remain unmodified and in full force and effect.

6. Conflict or Inconsistency. In the event there is any conflict or inconsistency
