AMENDMENT No. 1 TO LEASE AGREEMENT MC-10185
Between
MARICOPA COUNTY, “Lessor”
And
COMMUNITY BRIDGES, Inc., “Lessee”
RECITALS
A. Lessor and Lessee are parties to that certain Lease Agreement No. MC-10185 dated March 16, 2011 (the
“Lease”). The Lease is for the real property and improvements located at 358 East Javelina Avenue,
Mesa, Arizona 85210 (the “Premises”).
B. The term of the Lease expires December 14, 2021.
C. Lessor and Lessee now mutually desire to enter into this Amendment No. 1 (the “Amendment”) and
amend the Lease to extend the term, add additional provisions to the Lease and to update Lessor notice
address.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, the mutual promises contained herein and other
good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and adequacy of which the parties acknowledge Lessor
and Lessee agree to amend the Lease as follows:
1. The recitals, by this reference, shall be incorporated herein and are made a part hereof.
2. The term of the Lease is hereby extended approximately three (3) years, commencing December 15, 2021
and expiring December 31, 2024. This Lease may be terminated by Lessee with one hundred eighty (180)
days’ prior written notice to Lessor; provided however, that Lessee may give such notice to terminate the
Lease if, and only if, Lessee also gives one hundred eighty (180) days’ prior written notice to terminate
early, and on the same date, its Sublease Agreement with The United Food Bank dated March 16, 2011.
This Lease may be terminated by Lessor on or after January 1, 2022 with one hundred eighty (180) days’
prior written notice to Lessee. This Lease is subject to termination pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. §
38-511.
3. Written notices to be given to Lessor as defined in Section 14 of the Lease are changed as follows:

4. The effective date of this Amendment is the date of execution by Maricopa County.
5. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other terms and
conditions of the original Lease remain the same and in full force and effect.
