INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY
AND
MARICOPA COUNTY ADMINISTERED BY ITS
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT

Amended Contract Termination Date: April 30, 2020

This Amendment is entered into by and between the Housing Authority of Maricopa County,
(hereinafter referred to as “HAMC”) and Maricopa County, administered by its Human Services
Department, (hereinafter referred to as “Contractor”). HAMC and the Contractor are collectively
referred to herein as the “Parties” and individually as a “Party.”
Whereas, the Parties agree the purpose of this Amendment is to renew the Agreement for a one-
year term and to increase the Agreement by $25,000 for the work performed in the twelve-month
period of May 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020 as authorized in Section 6 of the Agreement.
Therefore, with consideration mutually acknowledged by both Parties, amend the Agreement as
follows:
A. Increase the Agreement contract award by $25,000 to $50,000.
B. Extend the Contract Termination date to April 30, 2020.
C. Include a revised Attachment A, 2019-2020 Itemized Service Budget, attached hereto and
incorporated herein.
D. The Parties to this Agreement have designated attorneys employed by the Civil Services
Division of the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (“Civil Services Division”) to act as their
attorney for the purpose of reviewing this Agreement. In so doing, by their signature below,
each party acknowledges that it is aware that the Civil Services Division will represent both
parties to this Agreement, and each party expressly waives any conflict created thereby.
E. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment.
F. This Amendment is subject to A.R.S. §38-511.
G. Except as amended herein, all other terms and conditions of the Original Agreement remain
in full force and effect.
