RESOLUTION AND ORDER C-06-19-282-7-00 WHEREAS, pursuant to A.R.S. § 9-471.02 and 9-471.03, the City of Buckeye passed and adopted Ordinance No. 16-18 declaring the deannexation of the territory described as follows: The West 10 feet of the East 65 feet of the Northeast Quarter of Section 17, Township 2 North, Range 2 West, of the Gila and Salt River Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona. WHEREAS, Maricopa County passed and adopted an Ordinance annexing the same territory described above; and WHEREAS, the aforesaid Ordinances were filed with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors; and WHEREAS, after such notice as was appropriate and legally required, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors scheduled a hearing on the matter on January 30, 2019; and WHEREAS, it was determined at such hearing that the requirements of Section 9-471.02 and 9-471.03, Arizona Revised Statutes, have been satisfied; and WHEREAS, no protests were filed before the Board of Supervisors, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND ORDERED that the territory be deannexed from the City of Buckeye and that the same territory be annexed to Maricopa County; and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this order be filed with the Recorder's Office of Maricopa County.
