AMENDMENT TO THE
AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY
ADMINISTERED BY ITS
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT
AND
GUADALUPE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
A COMMUNITY HOUSING DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION
I. Maricopa County (“County”) administered by its Human Services Department and Guadalupe
Community Development Corporation, a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO)
entered into a financial Agreement on or about February 21, 2017. The Agreement effective date is
February 1, 2017 through February 21, 2019. The purpose of the Agreement is for the CHDO to
acquire and construct up to four single-family homes for low-income families in Guadalupe. The
County shall provide the CHDO $250,000 in HOME Investment Partnerships Program funds from
the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) project activities. The County and
the City may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as “Parties.”
II. The Parties wish to amend the Agreement as follows (Amendment No. 1):
A. Extend the Agreement from February 21, 2019 to July 31, 2021.
B. Revise the existing budget to add $0.15, for a total funding amount of $250,000.15. Th increase
amount is required to meet the HOME Investment Partnerships Program regulations.
III. The foregoing paragraphs, contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other terms and
conditions of the original agreement remain the same and in full force and effect as approved and
amended.
