RE: Maricopa County Intake Transfer and Release Facility/Detention Facility Design
az Design Change Notification 12— MCSO Telephony Modifications
Mr. Bump:
Arrington Watkins Architects (AW) has been asked to provide additional scope for modifications to the
currently designed integrated MC OET IPT telephone system. MCSO feels that the MCSO Legacy Avaya
telephony solution will save the County initial install capitol, will better support MCSO operations, and will
allow for timely and seamless updates as staff functions, positions, and locations change frequently.
After coordination with FMD and HP we have a firm grasp of the required scope to redesign this system.
SCOPE OF WORK
Our understanding of this scope of work is as following:
1. Review Voice Requirements with each user group (Coordinated with FM D)
a. Confirm that an 876-phone number is appropriate for each user group at ITR.
i. There may be concern that Courts and Attorney wanted to NOT be on the MCSO
phone system. This may result in a split phone system. NON-MCSO OET and
MCSO Legacy (separate network)
b. With using "floor plan — Layer 1 end points" review each user group area for phone
count. (coordinate with LSW and FMD)
i. No new network drop locations will be added.
2. Provide MCSO information collected in #1.
a. This allows MCSO to provide accurate information to Windstream so they can provide a
high-level single-line diagram
3. Summarize information collected inn and #2 in order to properly plan changes.
4, Coordinate changes to TR/MER rooms,
5. Review and understand impact to the OET network.
6. Receive single-line diagram from Windstream and incorporate information into the
specifications and drawings,
7. Develop and Update passive communications system (cable plant, TR, and ME R rooms)
8. Develop and Update active communications systems (network infrastructure, 'PT, integration)
9. Issue updated drawings and specifications

This notification assumes:
O No cabling changes from the workstations to the MEWTR rooms. The present configuration of
three Cat 6 cables at each workstation will remain as designed.
O No mechanical design changes are anticipated. The present design will support the additional
heat load of new equipment.
O No electrical design changes are anticipated. Present design will support the additional electrical
load of new equipment.
• Technology design will require re-working of the equipment in the rack elevations, verification of
data station cabling quantity, phone locations, and review of the existing backbone cabling to
confirm fiber strand availability.
• Technology design revisions will also require coordination with MCSO phone system design.
PROFESSIONAL FEE
Attached you will find a spreadsheet for professional services summary, and pages for LSW engineers
and Inspired Networks. Should the need arise that additional support is required, or additional scope is
needed, an additional service fee will be developed based on standard hourly rates for the respective
individuals required to perform the work.

RE: plaricopa County Intake Transfer and Release Facility/Detention Facility Design
/Design Change Notification 19 — Site Perimeter Security
Mr. Bump:
Arrington Watkins Architects (AW) has been asked to provide additional scope for the design of a
complex perimeter system on the Durango Campus. Since the scope for this work in not fully
programmed at this time our team has made some assumptions as to the effort required to complete this
work. If this work is to be incorporated into the project, and the final scope differs from this we will request
a scope modification.
SCOPE OF WORK
Our understanding of the expansion scope of work is as following:
a Approximately 2.5 miles of 12 foot detention chain-link fencing with Razor top
a Assume two vehicle sally ports: one at the end of Gibson near Durango, and one on Watkins
near new staff parking entry.
o Guard shacks in each — with search room, restroom, and small office (conditioned)
o Multiple vehicle gates (controls, operators, monitoring,. OSC, and remote operation)
o Multiple man-gates
o Cameras
o Badge and remote controls
o Intrusion protection (if this scope is not needed remove $30K)
PROFESSIONAL FEE
Attached you will find a spreadsheet for professional services summary, and pages for each of our team
members. This proposal includes only hours that we associated with the perimeter security. Should the
need arise that additional support is required, or additional scope is needed, an additional service fee will
be developed based on standard hourly rates for the respective individuals required to perform the work.
