Lori,
Our election calendar has been properly noticed to our Members. We have received no nominations for persons
interested in running in the election. The Trustees have elected to terminate the election process under the ARS as it
will serve no purpose. All of the current Trustees (3, listed below) are willing to continue to serve the District.
I have reviewed your deter dated 9 May 2017/18, 2018 Election Calendar for instructions. I did not find them other than
the District may ask for board of supervisors to cancel the election. Please consider this message as the District's official
request to the Board of Supervisors to cancel the District election for 2018.
When may we expect confirmation that we may halt the election process?
Thank you for your assistance,
Scott Grainger

Lori,
I received your USPS letter recently with the election calendar. Our District is preparing for our Annual meeting (6/5/18
at 7PM) and for the election. We will take advantage of the option to cancel the election and re-appoint the current
Trustees if we don't have anyone express an interest in running for Trustee outside the 3 of us by 13 Oct. (1 day after the
last day that nominations must be received by the District Election Board.
The District does not have a mail ballot election. The members or an authorized representative must come to the poll to
receive a ballot and deal with the ballot at the polling place.
Thanks for the election calendar.
Scott
