Clearwater Hills Fire District Minutes of the September 18,2018, Clearwater Hills Fire District Board Special Meeting The Clearwater Hills Fire District Board issued Notice of their Special Meeting to be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 4:45 p.m. in the Clearwater Hills Office, 7300 N. Tatum Boulevard, Paradise Valley, Arizona, 85253, in accordance with Arizona Statutes, Section 38- 431.02. Board member David Arriola and district administrator Mary Lou Reid attended the meeting in person. Board member Paul Jones and Board attorney Garry Hays participated by telephone. Mr. Jones called the meeting to order at 4:45 p.m. The Board took notice that the only members comments received were in support of reforming as a noncontiguous county fire island district in accordance with A.R.S. §48-851(E). No comments were received in opposition. Therefore, Mr. Jones made a Motion that the Clearwater Hills Fire District Board Notice the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors they are petitioning that the Clearwater Hills Fire District be allowed to reform as a noncontiguous county fire island district in accordance with A.R.S. §48-851(E) as it would promote the public health, comfort, convenience, necessity or welfare of district members. Mr. Arnola made a second to the Motion. A call of the vote is two votes in favor, none opposed. The Motion was approved to Notice the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that the Clearwater Hills Fire District is petioning to be allowed to reform as a noncontiguous county fire island district in accordance with A.R.S. §48-851(E) as it would promote the public health, comfort, convenience, necessity or welfare of district members. There being no further action to be taken, Mr. Jones made a Motion that the meeting be adjourned. Mx.
