RESOLUTION NO. 3985
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE
TOWN OF GILBERT, ARIZONA ENDORSING THE
FORMATION OF THE COLLEGE PARK WEST IRRIGATION
WATER DELIVERY DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Arizona Revised Statutes §§ 48-261, 48-263, and 48-3422 provide
for the formation of irrigation water delivery districts; and
WHEREAS, the land owners of approximately 32.139 acres within the College
Park West subdivision, as shown in Exhibit A, have requested that the Mayor and Council
endorse the formation of an irrigation water delivery district to assist in the management,
maintenance, and operation of the untreated irrigation water delivery system; and
WHEREAS, the proposed members of the organizing board have submitted an
impact statement that includes the benefits and injuries derived from creation of the district; and
WHEREAS, the formation requirements of Maricopa County require the
endorsement of the governing body in which the proposed district is located.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COMMON
COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF GILBERT, ARIZONA, that the Gilbert Town Council endorses
the formation of the College Park West Irrigation Water Delivery District as authorized by law;
and
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all resolutions and parts of resolutions in conflict
with this Resolution are hereby repealed.

TO: THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARICOPA COUNTY, STATE OF ARIZONA
Jenppaniels, being first duly sworn upon her oath, deposes and says:
1. That she is the Mayor of the Town of Gilbert.
2. That the lands to be included within the College Park West Irrigation Water
Delivery District are within the Town of Gilbert.
3. That the Town of Gilbert consents to the formation of said irrigation water
delivery district and said action was duly authorized by resolution dated August 2nd, 2018.
4. That she has read this Consent and knows the contents thereof and that the matters
and things contained herein are true and correct to the best of her knowledge, information, and
belief.
