Central Avenue, 9th Floor Phoenix, AZ 85003 BOARD OF SUPERVISORS The Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, Phoenix, Arizona, convened in Special Session at 9:00 AM on Monday, May 7, 2018, in the Security Building, 234 N. Central Avenue, 9th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Steve Chucri, Chairman, District 2; Bill Gates, Vice Chairman, District 3; Denny Barney, District 1 (entered late); Clint Hickman, District 4; Steve Gallardo, District 5 (entered late). Also present: Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board; Joy Rich, County Manager; and Andrea Cummings, Legal Counsel. Minutes compiled by Maria Ceaglske, Minutes Coordinator. 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider the items on the Special Executive Agenda dated May 07, 2018, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to the statutory authority listed for each item. Motion to approve by Supervisor Gates, seconded by Supervisor Hickman Ayes: Chucri, Gates, Hickman ~ Supervisor Barney and Supervisor Gallardo entered after the vote ~ MEETING RECESSED The Chairman announced this meeting would be in recess to reconvene immediately following the 1:00 p.m. Special Meeting. This meeting will reconvene in the Tom Sullivan Conference Room, 301 W. Jefferson Street, 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003. MEETING RECONVENED The Chairman reconvened the meeting at 2:00 p.m. in the Tom Sullivan Conference Room, 301 W. Jefferson Street, 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003.
