AMENDMENT TO THE
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY
ADMINISTERED BY ITS
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT
AND
THE CITY OF GOODYEAR
Maricopa County (“County”) by and through the Human Services Department and the City of Goodyear
(“Subrecipient”) entered into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) for the term July 1,
2016 through June 30, 2018. The purpose of the Agreement is for construction of a Waterline
Replacement Project in the city of Goodyear. The County shall provide $138,229 in Community
Development Block Grant funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for
the project. The County and the Subrecipient may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as
“Parties.”
The Parties now wish to amend the Agreement as follows:
I. Extend the contract termination date from June 30, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
II. Revise the Project Implementation Schedule as follows:

III. Parties agree that the statutory language of A.R.S. §38-511 are applicable to this Amendment and
incorporate the same by reference.
IV. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes to the Agreement as amended. All other terms
of the original Agreement and Amendments not amended hereby, remain in full force and effect
as approved and amended.
