SECTION 2. That the City Council hereby determines that the territory to be
annexed is described as follows:
That part of the North half of Section 10, Township 6 North, Range 2 East, G&SRB&M,
Maricopa County, Arizona, described as follows:.
BEGINNING at a point in the city limits line of the City of Phoenix as established in
Ordinance No. G-4913, recorded in Document No. 2007-0665330, records of Maricopa
County, Arizona, said point being the intersection of the West line of the East 120,20 feet and
the South line of the North 660.34 feet of said Northwest quarter of Section 10;
thence Westerly along said South line of the North 660.34 feet of said Northwest •
quarter and the city limits line to a point in the Easterly right of way line of the Phoenix-Cordes
Junction Highway (Interstate 17) and to a point in a non-tangent circular curve concave
Easterly, the radius point of which bears North 87° 33' 40" East a distance of 22,714.32 feet;
thence Northerly along the arc of said curve, being also the Easterly right of way line of
the Phoenix-Cordes Junction Highway (Interstate 17), through a central angle of 00° 03' 47", a
distance of 25,00 feet to a point in the city limits line of the City of Phoenix as established in
Ordinance No. G-4995, recorded in Document No. 2007-1125458, records of Maricopa
County, Arizona, being also a point in the South line of the North 635,34 feet of said Northwest
quarter of Section 10;
thence Easterly along said South line of the North 635.34 feet to a point in the East line
of the West 131,55 feet of the Northeast quarter of said Section 10;
thence Southerly along said East line to a point in said South line of the North 660.34
feet of said Northeast quarter of Section 10;
thence Westerly along said South line of the North 660.34 feet to a point in the city
limits line and the POINT OF BEGINNING.
SECTION 3. That the map or plat attached to this ordinance is an accurate
map of the territory annexed, and the same is hereby adopted as the official map of the
territory hereby annexed, which said map and plat show the legal boundaries thereof,
together with the avenues, streets, alleys and lanes and the locations thereof,
SECTION 4. That the Mayor of the City of Phoenix be, and he hereby is,
authorized and directed to certify that said map is an accurate map of the territory annexed
under the provisions of this ordinance.
SECTION 5. That a copy of this ordinance, together with the attached official
map, shall be filed with the Board of Supervisors of Maricopa County, State of Arizona, for
their consideration pursuant to A.R.S. Section 9-471(N).
