ALDI focuses on the groceries that shoppers buy the most, including fresh produce and organics, dairy, gluten-free foods, USDA Choice beef and bakery items, at everyday low prices. ALDI identified the City of Goodyear as its preferred location for a new regional office and distribution facility that will accommodate its immediate and long-term expansion plans and otherwise meet its business needs. ALDI plans to build a 550,000 to 600,000 square foot distribution center and regional office at the southwest corner of Indian School Road and North Cotton Lane in Goodyear. Construction costs of the building will be approximately $55 million. They will add an additional $2.5 million in capital equipment.
