RE: Appraisal for Right of Way Application No. 16-119148-00-000 (Maricopa County P&R)
Dear Mr. Rose:
Please accept the attached above-referenced Notice of Appraisal (“NOA”) and waiver to appeal.
In an effort to expedite the processing of applications, the Arizona State Land Department
(“Department’) has transitioned to electronic processing and hard copies are no longer needed. As
a result, the NOA has been electronically prepared and is attached to this cover letter. It is the
intent of the Department to proceed with the Right of Way appraised value and request your
signature. At your earliest convenience, please sign and date electronically or print, sign and date,
and scan the NOA, returning an electronic copy via email to my attention. Please retain the original
for your records.
The cost of the Right of Way reflects a perpetual payment term.
If you wish to appeal the appraised value do not sign the NOA, and you must notify the
Department’s Public Records in writing with your intent to appeal within 30 days from the date
you receive this NOA. The appraisal is available for review at the Arizona State Land Department,
1616 West Adams Street, Phoenix, Arizona, 85007.
If this appraisal is approved by the Board of Appeals, a public auction will be scheduled. Applicant
is responsible for rendering to the Department within 30 days from the date of this letter a payment
in the amount of $2,500.00 for the estimated auction advertising

expense. It is understood that this is only an estimate of the auction advertising cost. The
successful bidder is also responsible for paying the selling & administrative fee, not to exceed 3%
of the purchase price, at the time of the auction. Any additional charges will be due and payable
30 days after the date of the auction.
