PROJECT ADMINISTRATION
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Organization Name: Maricopa County Department of Emergency Management
Project Title: Central Region COOP/COG/EOP Cloud
Project Summary:
CPG101 requires states, counties, cities, towns and tribal entities to align their COOP and emergency plans
horizontally and vertically. While much progress has been made toward this essential initiative through
manual means, there are increased efficiencies through planning in a common, web-based environment. This
project is to sustain the cloud-based software system that unites planner efforts of city, town, tribal, and
county agencies in the Central Region. The software allows for the easy development, sharing, updating,
activation and maintenance of plans. It meets the requirement to distribute planning responsibilities to key
stakeholders and staff while maintaining standardized environments. It allows the region to scale planning
efforts across large, complicated organizations in an efficient and effective manner. This proposal is to sustain
the software system which the RAC invested in previous years and provides for the related training involved in
onboarding additional users, training new staff due to attrition or those added to the effort.
