AMENDMENT TO THE
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY
ADMINISTERED BY ITS
HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT
AND
THE TOWN OF GILA BEND
Maricopa County (“County”) by and through the Human Services Department and the Town of Gila Bend
(“Subrecipient”) entered into a financial Intergovernmental Agreement (Agreement) on or about December
12, 2016 for construction and renovations to the Gila Bend Community Center building. Administrative
Change order No. 1 was processed to revise the Implementation Schedule, changing the project completion
date from September 6, 2017 to May 31, 2018. The Agreement termination date is June 30, 2018. The
County and the Contractor may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as “Parties.”
The Parties now wish to amend the Agreement as follows:
I. Extend the contract expiration date from June 30, 2018 to December 31, 2018.
II. Increase contract amount by $250,402 from $655,000 to a total amount of $905,402.
III. Revise the Project Implementation Schedule as follows:

IV. Parties agree that the statutory language of A.R.S. §38-511 are applicable to this Amendment and
incorporate the same by reference.
V. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes to the Agreement as amended. All other terms
of the original Agreement and Amendments not amended hereby, remain in full force and effect as
approved and amended.
