Re: Harquahala Valley Power District 2017 Election of Directors
Dear Ms. Medaris,
Pursuant to A.R.S. §16-410(A), Harquahala Valley Power District ("HVPD") hereby requests cancellation
of its election of directors scheduled and noticed for December 5, 2017. HVPD has received timely
nomination petitions and/or nomination papers from only four candidates; copies of the respective
nomination petitions are enclosed, as required by A.R.S. §48-1572(C). Those candidates are, in each
instance, the current incumbents, as follows:
Wade C. Ferguson, Director at Large
Stephen Marton, Director at Large
William K. Perry, Director at Large
Brandon Wolfswinkel, Director at Large
HVPD respectfully requests that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors cancel the December 5, 2017
election, and appoint the above-named persons to fill the 2-year terms of Director at Large commencing
January 1, 2018.
