Maricopa County PROCLAMATION Teen Challenge of Arizona Day November 17, 2017 WHEREAS Citizens of all ages, race, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds are witnessing the devastating effects of drug abuse in our communities; and WHEREAS Teen Challenge of Arizona has made a substantial impact in lives torn apart by drug, alcohol and life-controlling addictions for the last fifty years; and WHEREAS Teen Challenge of Arizona helps the total person with spiritual, emotional, physical, social and educational challenges; and WHEREAS Families and individuals affected by drug abuse are given the opportunity to receive a new life given back to them by the recovery programs offered at Teen Challenge of Arizona, NOW, THEREFORE, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors does hereby proclaim November 17, 2017 as, Teen Challenge of Arizona Day, and encourages all to join in recognition and celebration of the outstanding results of this organization.
