AMENDMENT TO THE
MOU
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
AND
MARICOPA COUNTY WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT BOARD
AND ITS
WORKFORCE INNOVATION & OPPORTUNITY ACT
PARTNERS
I. Maricopa County (“County”) by and through the Maricopa County Local Workforce Development
Board (Local WDB), and its Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act Partners (hereinafter referred
to as the “Partners”) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) on or about June 21,
2017. The MOU effective date is July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2020. The MOU confirms the
understanding of the Partners regarding the operation and management of the One Stop Centers in the
Maricopa County Local Workforce Development Area (Local WDA).The County and the Partners
may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as “Parties.”
II. The Parties wish to amend the Agreement as follows:
A. Attach as required per WIOA an Arizona@Work Infrastructure Funding Agreement (IFA)
which:
i. Acknowledges contributions of each of the required One Stop Partners as listed in Section
3.12 of the MOU
ii. Includes a signature page for each Partner agency to be included in the IFA.
iii. Details proportionate shared Operational costs for each of the Arizona@Work Maricopa
County One-Stop Career Centers.
iv. Itemizes space allocations and costs attributed to each co-located Partner.
v. Requires the Chairman to sign the IFA as the representative for Maricopa County as the
the Chief Elected Official
III. This agreement is subject to A.R.S. §38-511. The foregoing paragraphs, contain all the changes made by
this Amendment. All other terms and conditions of the original agreement remain the same and in full
force and effect as approved and amended.
