Contract No. C-22-16-003-3-02 Amendment 1 2015-134-COS-A1 AMENDMENT No. 1 TO INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY ADMINISTRED BY ITS HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND CITY OF SCOTTSDALE I. Maricopa County (“County”) by and through its Human Services Department and the City of Scottsdale (“City”) entered into a non-financial Agreement (“Agreement”) on or about August 24, 2015. The County and the City are collectively referred to herein as the “Parties” and individually as “Party.” The Agreement term is July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2017 with the option to extend the Agreement for two (2) additional two (2) year terms, upon acceptance and approval by both Parties. II. The purpose of this Agreement is to maintain a computer lab in the City of Scottsdale, Human Services, Vista del Camino Center located at 7700 E Roosevelt Street, Scottsdale, Arizona 85257 (City’s Center). The City will provide space where County computers, printers, and copiers (resources) are available to job seekers as they conduct employment searches, apply for employment online and update resumes. The City will provide staff to assist job seekers with using the resources for job searches. The services provided in the City’s Center will benefit Maricopa County residents who cannot travel to access services in the two (2) Arizona@Work Maricopa County One Stop Career Centers. III. The Parties wish to amend the Agreement as follows: A. Extend the Agreement term retroactive to July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2019. Upon approval of this Amendment, one (2) year term will remain. B. Remove reference to Maricopa Workforce Connections and replace with Arizona@Work Maricopa County Youth Services Program. IV. This agreement is subject to A.R.S. §38-511. The foregoing paragraphs, contain all the changes made by this Amendment. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement remain the same and in full force and effect as approved and amended.
