IN THE MATTER OF NOTICE TO BOARD OF
THE ELECTION OF A DIRECTOR OF SUPERVISORS OF CALL
WESTERN MEADOWS IRRIGATION OF ELECTION (2017)
DISTRICT, MARICOPA COUNTY,
ARIZONA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that the
Board of Directors of Western Meadows Irrigation District, on June 5, 2017, pursuant to
the Arizona Revised Statues § 48-3011, has set and called for an election to be held on
Tuesday, November 14, 2017, for the purpose of electing a Director to the Board of
Directors of said District. This election will be conducted as a mail ballot election
pursuant to Arizona Revised Statues § 16-225 and § 16-558.
1. The purpose is to elect a Director of the governing Board of Directors.
2. The election will be held on the Tuesday, November 14, 2017.
3. Nomination petitions must be filed with the Secretary of the District, Ray
Davis, P.0 Box 11357, Glendale, Arizona 85318, and received by
Wednesday, August 16, 2017. Persons desiring to become a candidate for the
position may obtain nomination petitions and nomination papers from:

4. Regis dtion to vote is open on Monday, August 16, 2017 thru September 25,
2017. Registration shall be conducted through appointment with Nancy Davis
at 4142 W. Topeka Dr., Glendale, AZ 85308, mornings, Monday thru
Wednesday. Please call Nancy for an appointment (602) 616-2937.
5. The election is being held by Western Meadows Irrigation District.
6. Ballots will be mailed to all qualified electors by Monday, October 30, 2017.
