Contract No. C-22-17-023-3-01 Amendment 1 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN MARICOPA COUNTY ADMINISTERED BY ITS HUMAN SERVICES DEPARTMENT AND SCOTTSDALE UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT Maricopa County by and through the Maricopa County Human Services Department (“County”) and Scottsdale Unified School District (“District”) entered into a financial Contract for Services (“Agreement”) for full service food catering to Head Start program participants for the period of October 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017. The County and the District may be referred to individually as “Party” or collectively as “Parties.” The Parties wish to amend the Agreement as follows: I. Increase funding amount by $130,000 from $384,780 to $514,780 for the term of the Agreement. II. The Amendment shall be effective upon approval and signature by both parties. III. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes to the Agreement. All other terms and conditions of the original Agreement as amended and approved remain the in full force and effect and as agreed to by the Parties. No other understanding, oral or otherwise, regarding the subject matter of the Agreement shall be deemed to exist or to bind any Party hereto. Nothing in the Agreement shall be construed as consent to any lawsuit or waiver of any defense in a lawsuit brought against the State of Arizona, County, or the District in any State or federal court. IV. This Amendment is subject to termination pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511.
