AMENDMENT No. 2 to LEASE AGREEMENT L-7457
BETWEEN
SON RISE FAITH COMMUNITY CENTER, Inc. (“LESSOR”)
AND
MARICOPA COUNTY (“LESSEE”)
RECITALS
A. Lessor and Lessee (collectively, the “Parties”) are Parties to that certain Lease Agreement No.
L-7457 approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on February 18, 2015 and
subsequently amended on May 24, 2015 (the “Lease”). The Lease is for Premises at 800 West
Galveston Street, Chandler, Arizona 85225 (the “Property”) consisting of 1,527 square feet
of Head Start and Early Head Start classroom space and non-exclusive use of common area
playground facilities.
B. The term of the Lease expires on May 30, 2020.
C. Lessor and Lessee now mutually desire to amend the Lease to establish a monthly cost
reimbursement amount to be paid by Lessee to Lessor for the cost of utilities to the Premises.
AGREEMENT
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein and other
good and valuable consideration, the sufficiency and adequacy of which the Parties
acknowledge, Lessee and Lessor agree to amend the Lease as follows:
1. Effective July 1, 2017, Section 7 of the Lease is deleted in its entirety and replaced with the
following:
7. Utilities. Lessor, at the sole cost and expense of Lessor, shall provide all utilities
for the Property and Premises, including electric, gas, water, sewer and trash
collection. Lessee shall reimburse Lessor $370.00 (Three Hundred Seventy Dollars)
per month for Lessee’s use of utilities (the “Utility Reimbursement Amount”). Lessee
shall be responsible for the installation and charges for telephone and internet service
to the Premises.
2. The effective date of this Amendment No. 2 is the date of execution by the Chairman of the
Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.
3. Capitalized terms not defined herein shall have the definitions in the Lease.

4. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this Amendment No. 2. All other
terms and conditions of the Lease remain the same and in full force and effect.
