Dear Mr. Hall:
As you are aware, Maricopa County (County) Department of Public Health Women,
Infants, and Children (WIC) Program has been informed that their WIC clinic
located on your property at 430 N. Dobson in Mesa will not be funded in the coming
fiscal year. Therefore, the County must terminate the Lease Agreement by and
between Warren Hall as Lessor and Maricopa County as Lessee; executed on
November 11, 2012, and amended on August 17, 2016 (Lease Agreement).
Pursuant to Section 16.2 of the Lease Agreement, this letter serves as written
notification that earlier today, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved
Agenda Item C-86-12-031-1-03 authorizing early termination of the subject Lease
Agreement effective September 30, 2017 due to non-appropriation of funds. The
County will contact you prior to September 30 to schedule a walk-through and return
of the leased premises.
