2.1.18 Lot #17: Shrink System
The SERGEANTTm 110 SHRINK SYSTEM integrates the L-Sealer and Shrink
Tunnel into one machine. Both are built onto one chassis and share a common
power source. The sealer and tunnel are designed to work optimally with each
other and have all the basic required accessories built in. Even in the most
minimal available configuration, the system can be used to make finished pack-
ages after a few minutes of simple operator training.
This model is equipped with a manual sealing head and adjustable height seal
platform. The operator uses hand pressure to hold the seal head closed during
the sealing cycle. An alarm signals the end of the cycle at which point the opera-
tor releases the seal head and manually moves the package into the opening of the
shrink chamber where it is automatically conveyed through the turbulent heated
air and ejected out the other end. Operator controls vary the seal temperature
and dwell, and tunnel chamber temperature.
