Enclosed is the Application for a Duplicate or Stale-Sated Warrant/Check
Affidavit/Claim Form regarding the above referenced matter. Maricopa County sold a
treasurer's deed through an on-line auction to Dr. Schneider at time that the property
should not have been assessed taxes. This was a complicated factual legal matter which
ultimately resulted in Dr. Schneider agreeing to accept the refund of the monies he had
previously paid over the last ten years. Unfortunately when he presented the enclosed
check on March 7, 2017 it was rejected by the bank as being stale-dated. I respectfully
request that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisor's authorize the re-issuance of this
check in the amount of $920.60 payable to Gerard W. Schneider. If you have any
questions do not hesitate to contact me.
