SUBJECT: Treasurer's Collections and Investment Summary for January 2017
Secured property tax collections during the month of January equaled $87,850,966 and
increased the 2016 year to date collections to $2,613,143,181 or 56.42% of the adjusted 2016 levy
of $4,631,224,974. The chart below reflects the 2016 collected and uncollected levy amount and
corresponding percentages for the 2016 property tax year.

The County's General Fund Balance totaled $187,768,116.60 effective January 31, 2017.
Warrants outstanding of $8,366,053.94 will post against the fund balances when presented.
A new fund was added to the outstanding warrants-district by fund report in July 2016 due to
the implementation of the new county accounting system, CGI Advantage 3x. The July thru
December reports do not reflect the correct amount of the outstanding warrants as the new fund
was not included in those calculations. Going forward, starting with the January 2017 report,
this fund will be included in the calculation of warrants outstanding in the Treasurer's
Collection & Investments Summary submitted to the Board each month.

The $21,473,929, unencumbered balance, of the County Municipal Line of Credit and the
$13,526,071 Workers Compensation Liability Letter of Credit remain unused.
