Maricopa County and its Special Districts submit this letter to inform you of their full support of the
proposed FTZ designation for Conair Corporation as a new site in Foreign Trade Zone No. 75A, City of
Glendale. Our County and Special Districts are aware of the tax impacts, and that as an activated user of
the FTZ, the designated property more fully described in the attached legal description will be reclassified
as a Class 6 property and we support the City of Glendale Foreign Trade Zone project.
We support the application for inclusion of Conair’s facility as an FTZ site within the City of Glendale
Foreign Trade Zone 75A. We are pleased that Conair chose this site at 7475 N. Glen Harbor Blvd., which
will bring new jobs and infrastructure investment. Your approval of their application is greatly
appreciated as it will help bring jobs to this community.
