KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT WHEREAS Richard G. Clausen and Susan B. Clausen, husband and wife, hereinafter
called the GRANTOR, for and in consideration of the sum of Six Thousand Four Hundred
Seventy Five and NO/100 Dollars ($6,475.00) and other valuable consideration, receipt of
which is hereby acknowledged, do hereby grant and convey to MARICOPA COUNTY, a
political subdivision of the State of Arizona, hereinafter called the GRANTEE, and to its
agents, successors and assigns, a drainage easement associated with the constructing and
maintaining of a roadway project and appurtenances on, over, under and across the ground
embraced within a parcel of land situated in the County of Maricopa, State of Arizona, and being
described as follows:
SEE ATTACHED EXHIBIT "A" FOR LEGAL DESCRIPTION
The GRANTEE or its agents, successors and assigns shall at all times have the right of full and
free ingress and egress to said easement for the purpose heretofore specified.
The covenants and agreements herein set forth shall extend and inure in favor and to the benefit
of and shall be binding on the heirs, successors in ownership and estate, assigns and lessees of
the respective parties hereto.
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the same and further consideration hereinafter set forth,
it is agreed, that this instrument contains the entire agreement between the parties hereto and
there being no further consideration paid than herein specified.

THE COUNTY OF MARICOPA AGREES:
A. To use the property described herein for the general welfare and benefit of the public.
THE GRANTOR AGREES:
1. To grant an easement for the property described herein to the County of Maricopa and/or
its agents for the general welfare and benefit of the public.

A portion of that property described in Document number 2012-0310053 records of the Maricopa
County Recorder (MCR) lying within the West half of the Southwest quarter of the Northwest quarter
of the Northwest quarter of Section 32, Township 2 South, Range 7 East of the Gila & Salt River Base
& Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona more particularly described as follows:
COMMENCING at Northwest corner of the Northwest quarter of said Section 32;
thence along the West line of said Northwest quarter, South 00 006'59" East a distance of 665.90 feet;
thence North 89 029'59" East, a distance of 65.00 feet to a point on the North line of said property
described in Document number 2012-0310053 and also the POINT OF BEGINNING;
thence along said North line, North 89°30'19" East a distance of 45.00 feet;
thence leaving said North line, South 00'06'59" East a distance of 23.51 feet;
