Dear Mr. McGilvray:
Maricopa County submits this letter to inform you of the County’s full support of the proposed FTZ
designation for Medline Industries Inc. as a new site in Foreign Trade Zone No. 75, City of Phoenix. Our
County is fully supportive of the City of Phoenix Foreign Trade Zone project. Thus, Maricopa County
expresses “no-objection” to the proposed FTZ designation and are aware that as an activated user of the
FTZ, the designated property will be reclassified as a Class 6 property.
We support the application for inclusion of Medline’s facility as an FTZ site within the City of Phoenix
Foreign Trade Zone #75. We are pleased that Medline chose this site at 8787 West Buckeye Road which
will bring new jobs and infrastructure investment. Your approval of their application is greatly
appreciated as it will help bring jobs to this community.
