I have read and accept the information outlined in the Impact Statement to organize the Pomelo Park Irrigation Water Delivery District as submitted on July 5, 2016, by Shane Abowitt to the Board for consideration. It is my sincere recommendation that the Board determines at the hearing on August 17, 2016, to grant moving forward on the formation of the requested Irrigation Water Delivery District for Ponnelo Park. My late husband, Philip J. Fernandez, had the privilege of working within a small group of very dedicated, talented, wise, generous volunteering neighbors from 1964 until 2007, managing maintenance, repairs, and improvements to ensure uninterrupted irrigation water delivery throughout our Pomelo Park neighborhood. The creation of the delivery system would certainly honor the quiet efforts of these men as good neighbors for one another and for our gratitude for the priceless possession of the original irrigation system that was included in the planning of Pomelo Park.
