Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix, AZ 85003, with the following members present: Clint Hickman, Chairman, District 4; Andrew Kunasek, Vice Chairman, District 3; and Steve Chucri, District 2 (via phone). Absent: Denny Barney, District 1 and Steve Gallardo, District 5. Also present: Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board; Joy Rich, County Manager; and Colleen Connor, Legal Counsel (via phone). ACCEPT RESIGNATION AND APPOINT CONSTABLE FOR DESERT RIDGE JUSTICE PRECINCT Accept the resignation of Cory Hazlett, Desert Ridge Justice Precinct Constable, effective June 21, 2016, and consideration of an appointee, effective June 30, 2016 to fill the vacancy for the remainder of the unexpired term of the office. The recommended annual salary of the newly appointed Constable is $48,294, consistent with A.R.S. §11- 424.01 and the Board of Supervisors’ action related to Constables salaries.
