AMENDMENT to LEASE AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
COMMUNITY ASSET and RESOURCE ENTERPRISE PARTNERSHIP, an
Arizona Non-Profit Corporation, LESSOR
AND
MARICOPA COUNTY, LESSEE
RECITALS
A. WHEREAS, Lessor and Lessee are parties to that certain Lease Agreement No. L-
7410 dated and approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors on March 2,
2010 and subsequently amended October 1, 2011, September 24, 2013 and September
23, 2015 by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, (the “Lease”), and
B. WHEREAS, the Lease is for the premises at 466 South Bellview Street, Mesa,
Arizona, consisting of 532 square feet of classroom space and certain playground area ,
and
C. WHEREAS, the term of the Lease expires on September 30, 2017, and
D. WHEREAS, Lessee and Lessor now desire to amend the Lease to expand the
classroom area and revise the rent.
AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing and other good and valuable
consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, Lessee and
Lessor agree to amend the Lease as follows:
1. The leased classroom space is hereby expanded to 1,890 square feet.
2. The Lease is subject to termination pursuant to the provisions of A.R.S. § 38-511, the
provisions of which are incorporated herein by this reference.
3. Lessee shall pay to Lessor as rent the sum of Two Thousand Dollars ($2000.00) per
month plus rental tax, beginning on the first day of the month following full execution of
this amendment and continuing through September 30, 2017, the end of the Lease term.

5. This amendment shall not become effective until it is executed by the Chairman of the
Maricopa County Board of Supervisors.
6. The foregoing paragraphs contain all the changes made by this amendment. All other
terms and conditions of the Lease not amended by this amendment remain the same and
in full force and effect.
