Mail Ballot Election
Dear Ms. McCarroll:
Pursuant to Arizona Revised Statutes § 16-558(A), an irrigation district may conduct its board of
directors elections by mail ballot if the governing board of the district obtains approval from the
board of supervisors of the county in which the district is located, prior to publishing the call of
election. Harquahala Valley Irrigation District ("HVID") hereby requests permission from the
Maricopa Co-Linty Board of Supervisors to conduct mail ballot elections for the 2016 HVID
election of directors, as well as all subsequent elections until further notice from HVID.
