A RESOLUTION OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
REGARDINNG PROCESSING OF TRIBAL GAMING FUND APPLICATIONS
WHEREAS, Section 12(d) of the Tribal Gaming Compact creates a Tribal Gaming Compact
Fund;
WHEREAS, the determination of eligibility of Tribal Gaming funds applications and
issuance of awards rests with the Tribes; and
WHEREAS, the County’s role is to administratively process the applications to the respective
Tribe without determination of eligibility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT, County staff shall administratively process
all Tribal Gaming Compact applications received by placing such matters on the consent agenda
deferring substantive review to the Tribal authorities.
