ADC Contract No. 15-198-20 STATE OF ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS 1601 West Jefferson, MC 55302 Phoenix, Arizona 85007-3002 AMENDMENT ONE This Contract is entered into between the Maricopa County administered by and through Maricopa County Animal Care and Control Department, hereinafter referred to as the Contractor, and the Director of the Arizona Department of Corrections,(“Director” and “Department,” respectively) through The GEO Group, Inc., its private prison operator and manager of its Arizona State Prison ~ Phoenix West, hereinafter referred to as ASP — Phoenix West as applicable.: Pursuant to and in accordance with the Special Terms and Conditions Paragraph 5.11 Amendments, the following change is made to the contract to expand the scope of work and increase the number of inmates as follows: Subsection 3.1 now reads: To provide a mutually agreed number of inmates, subject to the approval and authorization of the Department and availability of said work force, to support the Contractor's shelter maintenance and cleaning by completion of laundry, sanitation of kennels A, B, C, D, E, F ,G, H, I, K, S, play yards, lobby areas, public areas, and feed storage as well as, completing removal of trash and debris which are not part of the landscaping from the parking lot and exterior of the buildings. In no event will an offender with a history of a conviction for sexual assault, abuse or any other violent offense be assigned to the County’s work program. Subsection 3.1.1: Attachment No. 4, page 24 is hereby revised to include up to 15 inmates per day, 7 days a week 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. THIS SECTION LEFT BLANK INTENTIALLY ADC Contract No. 15-198-20 By signing, all parties agree to the terms and conditions of this Contract, not amended hereby, shall remain in full force and effect.
