ROAD FILE NO. A544
A roadway of varying width, lying within the Tonto National Forest in Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 9 &
10 - T2N, R7E; Sections 5 & 6 – T2N, R8E and Sections 5, 8, 16. 17, 21, 28, 28, 32 and 33 T3N,
R8E, all of the Gila and Salt River Base and Meridian, Maricopa County, Arizona, the centerline
of which is more particularly described as follows:
A road alignment as shown in Book 317 of Maps, Page 35, COMMENCING at station 0+00 on
the south line of Section 24 – T2N, R6E; thence along a meandering course Easterly and
Northerly to the point of TERMINATION at the South right of way line of State Route 87 in
Section 5 – T3N, R8E. EXCEPTING therefrom, those portions of said road previously declared
by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors in 1961 in Road File 1497 and shown in Book 14
of Road Maps, Page 50 and also that portion declared in 1987 in Road File 4306 and shown in
Book 32 of Road Maps, Page 22.
(Said roadway also known as Bush Highway from Powerline Road at the south line of The Tonto
National Forest to State Route 87 and lying in Supervisor District 2.)
