AMENDMENT NO. 1
TO
INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN
MARICOPA COUNTY
WITH
CITY OF BUCKEYE
Maricopa County (“County”) by and through the Maricopa County Human Services Department
(“MCHSD”) and the City of Buckeye,(“Subrecipient”) entered in an Intergovernmental Agreement
(“Agreement”) on or about July 1, 2014 in the amount of $381,656 for the construction of sidewalks
in the City of Buckeye on Narramore, Nelson, and Eason Streets. The Parties wish to amend the
Agreement to increase the amount of funding and modify the Work Statement Implementation
Schedule.
The Parties hereby agree:
1. To increase funding by $56,344 the additional funds will be utilized to cover the increased
cost for construction of the sidewalks from $381,656 to a total contract amount of $438,000.
2. Amend the Implementation Schedule on p. 36 of the Agreement by changing Section III,
Work Statement – Implementation Schedule to read as follows:

This Amendment is subject to A.R.S. §38-511. Any term of the original Agreement not amended
hereby, remains in full force and effect. This Amendment is effective upon the full execution of the
Parties.
