grant are limited to a rate of no greater than Executive Level II of the Federal Executive Pay
Scale. Currently the Executive Level II salary level is $185,100. MIHS has capped salary
reimbursements so that none of them exceed the statutory salary limitation.
Subcontractor – District Medical Group Year 2: $2,067.36
MIHS contracts with the District Medical Group (DMG) for physician and mid-level clinicians.
The contract payment to DMG is based on a negotiated rate based on fair market value (FMV).
The FMV rate is based on data from the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a
nationally recognized source for provider compensation information.
Under the DMG contract, compensation for mid-levels reflects a blend, on a fifty-fifty basis, of
rates taken from the MGMA Academic Practice Compensation and Production Survey (Total
Compensation for All Academic Faculty) and the MGMA Physician Compensation and
Production Survey, for the applicable specialty.
As mentioned, MIHS has capped salary reimbursements so that the salary limitation imposed by
Public Law 112-74, Section 203 is not exceeded. The table, below, shows the base salaries,
capped salaries, and the amount requested for clinician.
