A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE TYPE OF LIGHTS AND RATE FOR THE ARROYO NORTE
UNITS 5, 6, and 7 STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AND DECLARING
INTENTION TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT FOR PURCHASE OF ENERGY THEREFOR
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE ARROYO NORTE UNITS 5, 6,
and 7 STREET LIGHTING IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I. That the type of lighting and rate for the lighting of streets and public park areas
within the District boundary of the ARROYO NORTE UNITS 5, 6, and 7 Street Lighting
Improvement District is hereby adopted as the official type of lighting and rate for the District.
SECTION II. That it is the intention of the Board of Directors of the District to enter into a
contract with Arizona Public Service Company for providing energy and the expenses, said
contact was prepared under the direction of the district engineer, heretofore appointed by the
Board of Directors, for all public street lighting facilities at the rate set per said contract as
authorized by A.R.S. Section 48-960.
SECTION III. That said expenses shall be paid by a tax levied on all property within the
District, in accordance with A.R.S. Section 48-960.
SECTION IV. That said public street lighting facilities have been installed without
compensation from the District to the said Arizona Public Service Company and without
assessment to the properties within the District, except for the purchase of energy.
Passed by the Board of Directors of the aforementioned ARROYO NORTE UNITS 5, 6, and 7
Street Lighting Improvement District the 9th day of March, 2016
