Jefferson, 10th Floor, Phoenix, Arizona, with the following members present Steve Chucri, Chairman, District 2; Clint Hickman, Vice Chairman, District 4; Denny Barney, District 1; Andrew Kunasek, District 3; Steve Gallardo, District 5. Also present: Fran McCarroll, Clerk of the Board; Tom Manos, County Manager and Michelle Wood, Legal Counsel. Minutes compiled by Lori Medaris, Minutes Coordinator. Votes of the Members will be recorded as follows: aye-nay-absent-abstain. BOARD OF SUPERVISORS 1. EXECUTIVE SESSION Vote to convene in Executive Session to consider the items on the Special Executive Agenda dated December 09, 2015, for Board of Supervisors and relevant Special Districts pursuant to the statutory authority listed for each item. Motion to approve by Supervisor Barney, seconded by Supervisor Hickman Ayes: Chucri, Hickman, Barney, Kunasek, Gallardo OPEN SESSION FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT F-1. FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY V. JOHNNY YOUNG AND PAULA YOUNG, CV2013-006566 Take action consistent with the Board’s consideration of settlement proposal in Executive session on December 9, 2015. (C-69-16-024-S-00) Motion to approve a settlement in the amount of $450,000 inclusive of statutory interest by Supervisor Hickman, seconded by Supervisor Kunasek Special Meeting Minutes Wednesday, December 9, 2015 Page 2 of 2 Ayes: Chucri, Hickman, Barney, Kunasek, Gallardo F-2. FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT OF MARICOPA COUNTY V. AVENUE OF THE ARTS, L.L.C., CV2015-010850 Take action consistent with the Board’s consideration of settlement proposal in Executive session on December 9, 2015. (C-69-16-025-S-00) Motion by Supervisor Hickman to authorize counsel to settle the pending condemnation case, Flood Control District of Maricopa County v.
