Dear Ms. McCarroll:
Enclosed is the District's formal notice requesting the cancellation of its biennial election to be
held on November 18, 2015. In accordance with ARS 16-410 [a] the District seeks approval of
the county board of supervisors to have the election cancelled and the appointment of the three
nominated persons duly qualified for the term of office for which they were nominated. Attached
is a certified copy of the minutes accepting qualified nomination petitions.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors that the Board of Trustees
of the Rancho-Grande & Landerwood Irrigation Water Delivery District No. 24, on July 15th, 2015,
pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes §48-3444 set and called for a general election to be held on the
18th day of November, 2015, for the purpose of electing three members of the Board of Trustees of said
District. Pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes §16-410 [a] only three nominating petitions were
received and duly qualified. The Board of Trustees of the Rancho-Grande & Landerwood Irrigation
Water Delivery District No. 24 requests the cancellation of this election and appointment of the persons
who filed the nomination petitions to fill the positions for the term of office for which the candidate was
nominated by the qualified electors.

Minutes of 8/31/15 Board Meeting held at Watson residence
Attendees: Barney Watson, Pierre LeBlanc, John Oliver
Meeting called to order at 9:12 am
1) Reviewed minutes from last meeting and approved. Reviewed financials. Everyone paid.
2) Agreed to cancel biennial election due to insufficient response
3) Agreed to accept nomination from Terri Brown
4) Agreed to accept resignation from John Oliver effective at the end of his term
5) LeBlanc to post district info and meetings to web site. Ask for email addresses in all mailings.
6) Mr Oliver will say on as 'citizen advisor' to help new Trustee.
7) Irrigator to instigate process so homeowners can better track water delivery. Needs email addresses
from residents for notifications.
8) Irrigator reported scorpions along 7th Ave alley Wagon WheelNista.
9) Next meeting to be held at Spoke and Wheel.
10) Mr Watson to report on any leaks or delivery issues.
