Jefferson Phoenix, AZ. 85003 The Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County convened in Formal Session at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors Auditorium, 205 W. Jefferson, Phoenix, Arizona with the following members present: Denny Barney, District 1; Steve Chucri, Chairman, District 2; Andrew Kunasek, District 3; Clint Hickman, Vice Chairman, District 4; Steve Gallardo, District 5. Also present: Tom Manos, County Manager; Michelle Wood, Legal Counsel; and Irma Hollamby, HAMC Administrator. BOARD ACTION: H-1. RESOLUTION TO APPLY FOR AND ACCEPT, IF AWARDED, TRIBAL GAMING FUNDS FROM THE GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMINUTY FOR THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF MARICOPA COUNTY COFFELT-LAMOREAUX DEVELOPMENT Adopt Resolution 15-006 and pursuant to A.R.S. 5-601.02, authorize the application and, if awarded, the acceptance of a Tribal Gaming Grant from the Gila River Indian Community for the Housing Authority of Maricopa County Coffelt-Lamoreaux Development in the not-to-exceed amount of $342,252 over a two year period ($250,000 in FY 2016 and $92,252 in FY 2017). Authorize the Chairman to sign all application documents related to these grant funds, as applicable. Also, the Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County is authorized to sign and submit such documents as are necessary to effectuate and administer this grant.
