DIRECTORS OF THE SAN TAN NOVEMBER 10, 2015
IRRIGATION DISTRICT, MARICOPA
COUNTY, ARIZONA.
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to the qualified electorate of San
Tan Irrigation District of Maricopa County that the Board of Directors of San Tan Irrigation
District, on November 10, 2015, pursuant to the Arizona Revised Statutes Title 48, Ch. 19,
Article 5 (A.R.S. § 48-3041 and following—Acreage System of Voting), has set and called
for a general election to be held on the 10th day of November, 2015, for the purpose of
electing one (1) member of the Board of Directors.
FUR.T1-IER1 that nomination petitions for Director shall he signed by qualified
electors of the District representing no less than one-half of one percent of the vote in the District, but
not more than two hundred and fifty and not fewer than five signatures. A.R.S. § 16 -322(A)(12).
Nomination petitions shall be filed no earlier than 120 days before the election (July 13, 2015), and no
later than 90 days before the election (August 12 th 2015) with the Board of Directors of San Tan
Irrigation District by delivering the petition to the offices of the District at 3978 E Chandler Heights,
Suite 104, Gilbert, Arizona 85298. A.R.S. § 16-311(B). Write in candidates must comply with
A.R.S. § 16-312.
FURTHER, all voters eligible to vote in the election may register or check the status
of their registration in the offices of the District at 3978 E Chandler Heights, Suite 104, Gilbert,
Arizona 85298. No person shall be allowed to vote unless that person is the holder of lands within the
District as shown by the public records as of the 20th day before the date of the election and otherwise
meets the qualifications of electors within the District under A.R.S. § 48-3043, nor shall any person

cast more votes than the number of votes to which he or she is entitled as shown by the District
register, to be established by the District Secretary no later than 5 days before the election (A.R.S. §
48-3044),

July 9, 2015
A meeting of the Board of Directors of the San Tan Irrigation District, Maricopa County, Arizona, was
called to order on Thursday, July 9, 2015 at 5:10 P.M. by Kyle Taylor, 'President of the Board of
Directors.
The meeting was held pursuant to notice posted as required by law at the District office located at 3978
E Chandler Heights Road, Suite 104, Gilbert, AZ 85298.
Directors present were, Kyle Taylor President and Brett White via telephone conference. Also present
was Penny Slack office manager District's General Manager.
1. APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
The minutes from the regular meeting held on June 2, 2015 were reviewed. Motion made by
Kyle Taylor to approve the June 2, 2015 regular meeting minutes as written. The motion was
seconded by Brett White. Motion carried unanimously.
II. TREASURER'S REPORT:
Financial Statements for May 2015. The following Financial Statements were
reviewed.
Chase Bank Account Analysis Statement
Profit and Loss Statement for May, 2015
District Balance Sheet
Kyle Taylor moved to approve the Treasurer's Report for April, 2015, The motion was
seconded by Brett White. Motion carried unanimously.
HI REPORT FROM GENERAL MANAGER:
IV. BUSINESS FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS: DISCUSSION AND POSSIBLE ACTION
FOR THE FOLLOWING:
Call of Election: Motion was made by Kyle Taylor to call the Call of F,lection for
November 10, 2015. The motion was seconded by Brett White. Motion carried
unanimously.
