RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARICOPA COUNTY,
PHOENIX, ARIZONA AUTHORIZING THE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION
FOR FUNDING FROM THE GILA RIVER INDIAN COMMUNITY FOR THE LODESTAR
DAY RESOURCE CENTER PRIORITIZATION AND HOUSING MATCH FOR
HOMELESS CLIENTS PROGRAM AUTHORIZING ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS AND
PASS-THROUGH.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF MARICOPA
COUNTY, PHOENIX, ARIZONA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Maricopa County Manager’s Office is hereby authorized to
submit an application for Proposition 202 12% Tribal Gaming Funds to the Gila River
Indian Community in the amount of $90,910 over a two year period ($45,455 in FY 2016
and $45,455 in FY 2017).
Section 2. The Maricopa County Manager’s Office is hereby authorized to
accept grant funds from the Gila River Indian Community and to pass through these
funds to Lodestar Day Resource Center for Prioritization and Housing Match for
Homeless Clients Program.
Section 3. The Chairman of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors is
hereby authorized to execute said grant application, and necessary acceptance
documentation.
