RESOLUTION OF THE MARICOPA COUNTY
BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
APPROVING THE SUBMISSION OF PROJECTS FOR CONSIDERATION IN
ARIZONA’S OVERSITE COUNCIL ON DRIVING OR OPERATING UNDER THE
INFLUENCE ABATEMENT
WHEREAS, the Governor's Office of Highway Safety is seeking proposals from state
and local jurisdictions for projects relating to DUI Abatement; and
WHEREAS, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, through the Maricopa County
Sheriff's Office is interested in submitting projects to be considered for funding in the form of
reimbursable grants from the Oversight Council on Driving under the Influence Abatement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Maricopa County Board of
Supervisors hereby:
• Approving the Grant Agreement with the Oversight Council on Driving under the
Influence Abatement for DUI Enforcement & Underage Drinking Enforcement in
an amount not to exceed $50,000; and
• Authorizing the Chair to execute the Grant Agreement; and
• Authorizes the Sheriff, or his designee, to submit all financial and other reporting
documents required in connection with such grants.
