RESOLUTION NO. 15-016
FISCAL YEAR 2016 OPERATING BUDGET
WHEREAS, program operating budgets for low-income public housing programs have been
prepared using current and previous year data and are a summary of the proposed/budgeted
receipts and expenditures for Fiscal Year 2016 that begins on July 1, 2015 and ends on June 30,
2016;
WHEREAS, the proposed expenditures are necessary in the efficient and economical operation of
the Housing Authority of Maricopa County for the purpose of serving low-income families;
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of Maricopa County has sufficient funds to meet the working
needs of its programs and the budget plan is reasonable in that it includes a source of funding
adequate to cover proposed expenditures;
WHEREAS, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requires the Housing
Authority submit the budget to the HUD Field Office for review and HUD Form 52574 must be
signed by the Housing Authority Board Chairman, and submitted with the budget to HUD.
NOW THEREFORE:
BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Commissioners of the Housing Authority of Maricopa County
hereby adopt Resolution No. 15-016 and the proposed Fiscal Year 2016 Operating Budget is
approved. The Board Chairman is authorized to sign HUD Form 52574 after which it shall be
submitted to HUD for review.
